We power customer innovation with expertise in high reliability custom magnetics. Marque Magnetics has 30 years experience designing, manufacturing and shipping custom magnetics globally and we aim to be the preferred designer and supplier of custom magnetics to the electronics industry.
Our Company History
Marque Magnetics was established in 1986 through the efforts and vision of Bob Smith and Erick Jensen, who saw the need for a highly technical custom-wound component manufacturing company in the Australasian market. We have since grown to service customers in over 20 countries. The business continues to expand, supported by our volume manufacturing site in China and our headquarters and production facility in New Zealand.
Capabilities
Our design and manufacturing expertise encompasses a range of high-reliability magnetics. This includes high frequency transformers up to 1 MHz, utilising either ferrite or iron powder cores, and low frequency transformers, along with a range of inductors and chokes and custom coils. Rapid prototyping, speed of response and a secure supply chain are critical parts of our service delivery.
Our Global Facilities
We have two manufacturing facilities, with both plants accommodating customised, flexible production. Larger volumes are produced at our facility in Tianjin, China, and we test, prototype and do smaller runs at our facilities in Auckland, New Zealand. Having both facilities allows us to offer competitive pricing for mass production, backed by rigorous quality control from our NZ headquarters, and the ability to scale with your production requirements.
Both sites hold current ISO9001 and ISO13485 certifications.
Certifications and Approvals
As our components are custom designed to your unique specifications, all certifications and approvals are designed into the product from the start. We have internationally certified quality management systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 (Medical). Our design expertise includes meeting UL, CE, TUV, VDE, SAA, AS/NZS, CCC and IEC safety standards.
